I love shopping on Facebook marketplace or Offer Up before I hit a retail store. Many times, the products are half the cost, and the money goes to an individual person.

We think that this is a perfect way to start and raise awareness among our younger generation. We started a "vintage " second hand clothing shop called "New Look" at our school and students love it! We get so much that we're organizing a free shopping hour every other month :-)

I find joy in sourcing my clothing and home decor from thrift stores, as they offer unique pieces that stand out from the mainstream. Each item carries its own story, adding character to my space. Vintage clothing, in particular, evokes cherished memories from the past, and I appreciate that many of these styles tend to make a comeback over time.

I love second-hand stores. I purchased a lot of furniture from pre-loved store. But more than buying I like the sharing your stuff in your circle like upcycling.

I enjoy going to the second hand stores near me. VA Tech operates one with the YMCA that is great. My granddaughter loves all the bracelets and necklaces I get her.

I will always check our local 2nd hand stores before buying brand new and that goes for everything clothes, furniture, books, etc. One person's trash is another person's treasure!
