Someone very wise told me something
There's a old and very wise person I know. She told me when she has extra food she gives it to homeless people. It doesn't sound like much but let me tell you what she told me the reason why she does this. She told me she does this because it makes her feel good. I was surprised when I heard this but it changed my mind on certain topics. People do things not because of kindness but because they want to feel good. If you help at a shelter you feel proud of what you've accomplished. That is the reason why people do things I guess you could call it greed.
