A Blind Dog
(This story was written to the Random Acts of Kindness Day by one of my pupils, Andrew.) "As for me, kindness is an integral part of our life. It fills our lives with warmth, joy, and other positive feelings. Therefore, we have to be kind to each other and share our kindness stories. I would like to share my story with you. Once, my brother and I were riding bikes when we suddenly noticed a dog falling into a pit. It could not get out of there, so we decided to help. First of all, we called up a few emergency services. But they all answered that they were not able to help us. Then we started trying to pull the dog on our own. The first time it failed, because I could not get into the pit to reach the dog. Then my brother started to do this. He was smaller than me, so he managed to climb to the pit and raise the dog as high as he could. Then I took the dog and pulled it to the surface, and then pulled out my brother from the pit. It turned out that the dog was blind, and therefore, probably, did not notice the pit and fell. We took it to a safe place and went home. We were happy to help the dog."
