Sometimes you don't have to know
Last summer I was riding my bike around are neighborhood when I say one of are older neighbors picking up branches that had been blown of her trees from the storm from the night before. when I was riding my bike past her house my bike just came to a stop. I got this feeling that I needed to go and help her. I brushed the feeling off and kept riding when my bike came to a stop again, I looked back at her as she was bending down and reaching for the big branches. The feeling came back to me that I needed to go and help her. I walked my bike back to her house and set it down on the ground, I then was not even sure if it was my neighbor or if the person there was someone who was being paid to pick up the branches. when I got closer I said " would you like help" the old lady looked up at me it was my neighbor. A big smile came across her face as she looked me in the eyes she said "yes that would be amazing" I then started picking up the branches from around her yard. almost an hour of hard work we were almost done. I could not even imagine how long it would have taken her is she had done it all by herself. after we had finished she thanked me many times. I told her that it was fine and I enjoyed getting to help her, and if she needed any more help that I would be willing to help her anytime. I then walked back to mike bike and rode off, I felt so happy that I was able to help this girl. helping others is not always easy, but it will always be worth it.
