Paying it forward
As a young parent, I often struggled to have enough money to pay for groceries. A few years ago I saw a young family digging for change to pay for their item and had to put back some things because they didn't have the money. I told the cashier to put them on my purchase. I few months later, I bought a $25 gift card and gave to a cashier to hold on to and use it for another family who might come up short.
