I am not going to stand here and not say hello
I was traveling and in San Francisco watching a band at a bar and the person beside me introduced him self and said he was not going to stand beside me all night and not say hello. We talked and introduced ourselves and when he heard that I was from out of town he invited me to a dinner party at his house. He and his friends were fantastic cooks, they seated me at the head of the table (as the guest of honor) and we had a fantastic night. After dinner the host ( a singer song writer) pulled out his guitar and sang a couple of original songs. I hope to find an out of town visitor that I can bring back to my house to repay the favour. I will never forget this random act of kindness that ended up being the highlights of my visit to San Francisco.
