Kids are so honest
I worked at Mcdonald's when I was in high school many, many years ago. One day a very young girl, maybe 4-5 years old, came in with her father. They placed their order with me at the counter then went to a table to eat. But the little girl kept coming back to the counter and looking at me. Finally, she said, "You're so pretty." I had never in my life been told that. It changed the way I thought of myself. I often reflect on that little girl, and am so thankful that her father gave her the opportunity to talk to me that day. I'm pretty. I know it because a preschooler told me, and preschoolers don't lie.
