Helping out a home owner
I bought a flat last year that needed a lot of renovating so in order to cut costs I’ve been doing it up myself, unfortunately this also meant I haven't had much time to go food shopping so I can have a decent meal. Met a friend at the bar a few weeks into renovations and mentioned how things were and he offered to give me a lift to a supermarket so I can get some shopping in whenever I needed it. In addition to this he could recommend some trades people who could help out for cheap. As I was used to doing things like this by myself I nearly burst into tears as I didn't think anyone would even be bothered to even be interested let alone offer to help like this, so I immediately agreed and he's been helping out ever since. Renovations Are nearly done now and don't know what I would've done without his help. Didn't have to help out at all but he went out of his way to do so and only asked that I do the same if anyone was in need. Will never forget that
