5 Ideas to Celebrate Valentine's Day with Love and Kindness
Chocolate is delicious! You don’t have to convince us. But, did you know there are other ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day? …you can include chocolate with any of these. We actually encourage you to. Read on for 5 Ideas to Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Love and Kindness!
  1. Make handmade cards. Who doesn’t love getting snail mail? Handwritten letters, postcards, Christmas cards, especially handmade cards. A simple white piece of paper with a drawing is enough to make a bad day good and a good day great. Your card doesn’t have to be fancy, but it certainly can.

  2. Call a local nursing home and ask for the number of residents (including workers too) and make cards to deliver on or before Valentine’s Day. This could be a great project to do at school, work or home!

  3. Give a sincere compliment to a stranger. If you notice something about someone you like, let them know. You never know how even a small compliment can make someone’s day.

  4. Text at least 3 people and tell them you love them. This is the easiest way to uplift someone’s day and let them know you are thinking of them. Ready. Set. Go!

  5. Be kind to your server. “How others treat the CEO says nothing, they say. But how others treat the waiter is like a magical window into the soul.” —Del Jones
